Job Summary
FPGA Engineer role focusing on developing FPGA logic using VHDL/Verilog for medical imaging systems. Responsibilities include design, simulation, debugging, timing closure, FPGA implementation and integration, lab testing, documentation of designs and interfaces, supporting PLM release activities, and collaborating with hardware, firmware, and system engineers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of FPGA development experience, hands-on VHDL/Verilog, Xilinx Vivado, basic simulation/debugging skills, and ability to participate in design reviews; prior exposure to UVM or verification methodologies and imaging/medical device experience is a plus. Office-based with in-person presence in Haifa, Israel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of FPGA development experience
- Hands-on experience with VHDL/Verilog
- Experience with Xilinx tools, especially Vivado
- Basic understanding of simulation, debugging, and timing closure
- Ability to document design work clearly and support structured release processes
- Experience with UVM or other verification methodologies
- Strong motivation to learn and grow in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
- Experience in imaging systems or medical devices is a plus
- Able to work in office-based setup with onsite presence at least 3 days per week (Haifa, Israel)
