FP Movement Assistant Designer - Performance Outdoor

Job Summary
Sketch and mock new seasonal designs for run, hike, and court sports apparel. Maintain active roles in weekly design meetings, manage follow-up communications, and execute specific development projects including trim and artwork packages. Collaborate with designers, buyers, and technical designers to support the seasonal development calendar, set up spec sheets for private label products, and review incoming garments against brand standards. Prepare development packages for monthly sales reviews and photograph samples on models. Organize office samples, mocking yardage, trims, and fabrics while adapting to shifting priorities during the development process.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 Years of professional design or related industry experience
- Bachelor Degree in Fashion Apparel Design, Sportswear Design or related
- Procreate
- Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Sewing
- draping
- mocking experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- ability to intuitively respond and reprioritize as needs shift during the development process
- Entry level technical knowledge of apparel construction
- Entry level knowledge of fabric treatments as well as wash and dye techniques
- Ability to hand sketch and communicate design ideas via computer program
- Ability to relocate to or current residence in or within commuting distance to Philadelphia, PA
Desired Qualifications
- Assistant Design: 1-3 Years of professional design or related industry experience preferred
- Bachelor Degree in Fashion Apparel Design, Sportswear Design or related preferred
- Ai experience
