Job Summary
FP&A Specialist responsible for analyzing financial results and providing insights into variances versus budget, forecast, and prior year; delivering high-quality pricing and costing analysis with business impact due to metal price fluctuations; preparing monthly management reporting packages with dashboards and KPI analyses for leadership; leading quarterly forecast and long-range Business Plan processes for the China Market; driving annual Std. Cost review with operations and finance teams; managing month-end costing activities and ensuring accurate costing updates in M3; conducting risk analyses and identifying process improvement opportunities; serving as local system support (M3, report manager, QS, cost report, CRAM, etc.); and participating in company-wide projects including digitalization and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience
- 3+ years of plant costing experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance concepts including standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and COGS
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP/financial planning tools
- Experience with dashboard reporting, automation, and process improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain financial results to non-financial stakeholders
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
