Job Summary
FP&A Specialist for the DCM business unit responsible for developing budgets and quarterly forecasts, maintaining scalable financial models for revenue, expenses, and headcount, and delivering variance explanations to support decision-making. Partners with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights, tracks KPIs including ARR/bookings, supports month-end close and revenue recognition, monitors project profitability and capacity planning, and identifies process improvements to enhance reporting and forecasting in a SaaS/subscription-based utilities and energy technology environment. The role emphasizes clear communication of financial results to leadership and collaboration to drive an agile, customer-centric approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2–5 years of FP&A, accounting, financial operations, or similar role
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including revenue recognition
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large data set handling
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, agile mindset with focus on continuous improvement and innovation
