Job Summary
Maintain capacity and revenue forecasting, the rolling 3-statement model, and the long-range plan while building the FP&A function from scratch. Quarterback the annual budget process, build the 13-week cash forecast, and partner with department leads to deliver ad hoc financial analysis. Own internal management reporting, prepare monthly financial reviews, and create investor and board materials. Support sales and pipeline forecasting, then manage and develop a Financial Analyst as the team scales. This build-it-yourself role requires 5-10 years of FP&A experience and advanced modeling skills to drive good decisions as Walden Robotics scales its general-purpose robot team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years of FP&A experience
- Demonstrated ability to own complex, cross-functional financial planning projects end-to-end
- Track record of mentoring others and raising the quality bar
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including 3-statement modeling and scenario/sensitivity analysis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an early-stage or venture-backed startup environment
- Comfort working within an ERP to self-serve investigation and analysis
- Experience building AI/agent-assisted processes
- Robotics, hardware, or manufacturing industry experience
