Job Summary
FP&A Manager responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytics across multiple plant locations; manages and mentors a team including Cost Accountants and Financial Analysts; develops FP&A structure, reporting, and processes; partners with operations, plant leadership, and executive management on strategic initiatives; supports product costing analysis (materials, labor, margins) and profitability modeling; analyzes performance trends to provide actionable insights; develops KPIs, dashboards, forecasting tools, and financial reporting packages; supports ERP/system transitions and drives scalable finance infrastructure; onsite role based in Santa Ana, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A, finance, or cost accounting experience within manufacturing environments
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and standard costing
- Manufacturing and plant finance experience required
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet modeling skills required
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Dynamics/Navision, or similar platforms preferred
- Experience supporting ERP systems and evolving finance infrastructures preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and business partnership skills
