Job Summary
Provide budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis support for one of the company’s major operating pillars; translate operational plans into budgets and provide financial performance insights; design and implement budget vs actual reporting packages and cadences; build ad hoc analyses and repeatable frameworks to enable leaders to make better, faster decisions; support month-end close processes and cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial operations; drive process improvements and maintain high attention to detail and ownership mindset in a fast-paced, scaling environment; collaborate with FP&A and Accounting to improve financial reporting and planning capabilities; comfort navigating cross-functional teams and communicating financial insights to executives and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting
- Elite financial modeling skills
- Proven budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience at project/department levels
- Exceptional communication skills with executives and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with ERPs and financial planning tools such as Oracle and Datarails, or similar systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience analyzing complete, multi-stage manufacturing process or another capital-intensive and operationally complex business
- Familiarity with Aerospace & Defense GTM cycle, including program-based pricing, contracting structures, and the stakeholder landscape
- Experience across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis at project and departmental levels
