FP&A Lead

Job Summary
Lead the preparation and execution of the 2027 budget cycle, while developing forecasting and scenario planning to identify negative financial scenarios early. Build financial models for new products, AI initiatives, and investment directions, and prepare materials for the board, external investors, and fundraising processes. Partner with the CFO and business unit leaders on strategic planning, resource allocation, and investments, while mentoring the FP&A Manager. Establish a robust business metrics system aligned with executive and investor needs, evolving planning approaches as the business scales. Transform financial data into actionable recommendations for leadership, ensuring accurate budget vs. actual analysis drives strategic decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience in finance and FP&A, including experience with strategic planning, financial modeling, and interaction with top management
- Experience building or significantly developing an FP&A function from scratch
- Experience working in a tech company or another fast-growing digital business
- Strong experience in financial modeling of new products, investments, or business directions
- Practical experience interacting with external investors and preparing materials for the board
- Experience with the full cycle of budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of business metrics important for investors and strategic decisions
- Ability to go beyond budget vs actual and transform financial data into recommendations for business
- Strong communication skills and experience working with top management
