Job Summary
FP&A Intern supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team in delivering financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical insights. This role provides hands-on experience with core FP&A processes, including budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling, while contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization. The intern will work closely with finance team members and cross-functional partners to analyze business performance and support key initiatives. Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations; supporting budgeting and forecasting activities; performing variance analysis; maintaining financial models; monitoring KPIs; supporting month-end processes; performing ad hoc analyses; and contributing to process improvements. The position requires pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; proficiency in Excel; strong analytical and communication skills; and the ability to work in a team with multiple priorities. Travel is estimated at less than 5%.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills; High attention to detail and accuracy; Willingness to learn and take initiative; Basic financial analysis and critical-thinking skills; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; Good interpersonal skills; Demonstrates dependability and accountability.
