Job Summary
Finance senior associate role focused on strategic planning and AI-enabled financial oversight. Responsible for strategic presentations to Senior Management, month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and automated reporting using AI-assisted tools. Drive centralized process improvements, governance, and AI-enabled automation (data quality checks, reconciliation bots, forecasting assistants). Lead projects to standardize AI-assisted forecasting templates, prompts, and control checkpoints; collaborate with Technology Managers on risks and opportunities; produce dashboards and self-service views with AI-generated narratives, ensuring human review and audit-ready trails. Leverage Alteryx for ETL and AI tools for data prep, feature engineering, and workflow orchestration. Define and monitor KPIs for automation impact and maintain an audit trail for all AI-assisted steps. Coach peers on AI best practices and foster communities of practice. Maintain reusable AI-generated templates and prompts for consistent, faster reporting; support governance and accuracy in executive summaries and scenario analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Finance and Planning
- Proficiency with Alteryx for ETL and process automation
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for models and executive materials
- Experience with AI-enabled analytics and workflow automation
- Data quality checks, anomaly detection, reconciliations
- Forecasting with driver-based/ML models, scenario generation, back-testing, explainability
- Narrative generation and drafting variance commentary with human review
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to Senior Management
- Team collaboration across Finance, Business, and Technology groups
