Job Summary
Direct and lead FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and strategic analysis. Supervise, mentor, and develop the FP&A team while promoting continuous improvement and financial analysis best practices. Oversee annual budgeting and rolling three- to five-year forecasts, ensuring grant-funded expenses and reporting requirements are tracked. Analyze trends, variances, and key business drivers to create reports and dashboards for leaders and stakeholders. Build strong cross-functional relationships to support financial goals and guide analysis of new initiatives and capital spending. Optimize and maintain financial models, systems, tools, and reporting workflows that are AI-enabled and automated. Full time, typically Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Onsite, traditional office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 8–10 years of FP&A experience
- 6 years leading direct reports
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
- Expert financial modeling skills, including building models and turning data into insights
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and KPIs
- Hands-on experience with planning software and ERP system such as Adaptive, Anaplan, SAP, Workday or similar platforms
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Proven Leadership experience growing FP&A teams and value impact
- Excellent communication skills with financial and non-financial audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and sustainability focus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on supporting business performance
- Effective critical thinking under pressure, with a process-improvement mindset
- Highly organized, self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Adheres to confidentiality, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with Agency policy and legal requirements
- Adheres to technology security requirements in accordance with Agency policy and legal requirements
- Live Scan Clearance / DOJ Fingerprinting
- Health Clearance
- MVR / DMV Clearance (in accordance with CCRC's liability insurance provisions)
- Child Development Permit
- CPR / Pediatric CPR Certification
- Federal Debarment Checks
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in business (MBA) or CPA
- Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning and Workday Finance
- Working knowledge of Office of Management & Budget (OMB) Circulars and Fund Accounting
- Familiarity with non-profit accounting principles (FASB standards)
- Experience with large-scale grant programs or government funding
- Nonprofit experience with grants, donations, restricted funds, and financial management
- Knowledge of tax laws and nonprofit regulatory requirements
