FP&A Associate Director

Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end financial planning process, including the 5-year plan and annual budget, while liaising with the Business Support Centre and cross-functional teams. Develop ad-hoc business analysis to present recommendations to senior management and devise new metrics that provide deeper insight into business performance. Assist in maintaining an effective internal control environment by ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate policies, recommending controls through problem identification. Support Finance Leadership with process improvement, policy development, and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong financial integrity and commercial acumen to collaborate effectively across functions and support long-term business objectives within a global biopharmaceutical organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Preferably Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications)
  • minimum of 5 years of FP&A experience
  • Fluent in English (proficiency level)
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data
  • Agile mindset to accommodate assumption changes and business cases in the dynamic and innovative environment
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and an ability to determine insightful observations from detail for management attention
