Foundry Site Quality Program Engineer

Job Summary

Manage an internal site audit team by training staff on compliance standards, developing audit schedules, and identifying nonconformances during inspections. Lead Quality Meetings and improvement teams to drive hard fixes for repeat issues, while engaging with Factory Staff and Process Engineers to ensure robust excursion response systems. Support preparation for external audits and facilitate knowledge sharing with Foundry APTM counterparts to implement best known methods and define VF standards. Help lead Quality System Certifications for new technologies, including Excursion Protection systems and Queue Time loop Management. This role is part of Intel's Foundry Quality, Reliability, and Labs organization, requiring an on-site presence at the Chandler Assembly site.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience
  • Masters degree with 2+ years of experience
  • PhD degree
  • Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics
  • At least 2 years of Experience with Quality Management tools such as Audit, 8D, FMEA, SPC, change control and quality control standards
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with new and frequently changing challenges
  • Results-oriented, organized, assertive, resourceful, and independent
  • Ability with program management, attention to detail, and organizational influence
  • Capable of distilling complex information into clear messages and communicating both upward and downward in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional teams to drive alignment and timely resolution of quality issues
  • Minimum Qualifications: - Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or Masters degree with 2+ years of experience or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics

  • Demonstrated data extrapolation and analysis proficiency to enable guiding factory wide quality improvement programs
