Foundry Laborer

Operate a proprietary sand dispensing system to create sand molds from patterns, move molds via conveyors, and use an overhead pneumatic hoist to transfer molds to the pouring line. Move molds from the pouring line to a wheelabrator to separate metal castings from sand molds, manually break castings from the runner system, and visually inspect parts for defects. Maintain a clean work environment, adhere to safety rules, participate in daily safety meetings with the Foundry Supervisor and team, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, handle heavy conveyors, work in non-climate-controlled environments, and perform physical labor throughout shifts. Leadership-friendly education includes High School Diploma or GED preferred, with prior foundry experience and knowledge of the Sodium Silicate CO2 sand process considered a plus.
