Foundry Grill Lead Line Cook

Job Summary

Supervise production at the Foundry Grill when the Sous Chef is unavailable by leading staff through pre-shift meetings, assigning tasks, and conducting quality inspections. Execute all cooking and plating duties to Sundance standards while managing ticket times, station cleanliness, and food safety protocols throughout the shift. Provide leadership, training, and performance feedback to Line Cooks I, II, and III, ensuring full compliance with health codes and operational expectations. Maintain stocked stations, manage equipment, and communicate with chefs regarding ordering and maintenance needs. This full-time, year-round role requires weekend and holiday availability with a rate of $25.00/hour plus service charges.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 Years in a job as a cook level 3
  • Proficiency and experience working all standard kitchen positions and services such as: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Closed toe footwear is required
  • T-shirts must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos if not covered by chef's coat
  • Baseball caps must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos
  • Ability to comply with the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50)

  • Culinary education is not required but appreciated
