Foundry Caster (Weekend Shift)

Job Summary
Set up and operate permanent mold casting machines by following process sheets, pouring liquid aluminum into molds with a hand ladle, and regulating furnace temperatures. Handle mold treatments, place cores, clean and coat molds, and inspect castings for defects while maintaining a clean work station. Assist other casters as needed and perform other duties assigned. Work the weekend 1st shift from 5:00am to 5:00pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Requires standing for 10 hours daily, lifting 50 lbs, and working in a hot environment. High school diploma and at least six months of manufacturing experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 6 months prior manufacturing experience
- fluent using a computer
- read and understand English language
- stand for 10 hours per day

- read gauges
- wear eye and hearing protection and other job specific personal protective equipment as required
- Weekend 1st Shift Foundry Schedule: 5:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday, Friday, Saturday
