Job Summary
Lead fun, engaging classes for children ages 1–10, introducing sports fundamentals through games, imagination, and movement while fostering confidence and teamwork. Create a positive environment where every child feels successful, building relationships with school staff, parents, and students. Arrive prepared to lead each session independently with enthusiasm, representing the organization with professionalism. Schedule includes weekday mornings (9:00 AM–12:00 PM), with future expansion to afternoons, evenings, Saturdays, camps, and special events. This founding role offers competitive hourly pay, paid training, and mileage reimbursement within a rapidly growing startup in Colorado Springs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout Colorado Springs
- Ability to lift and carry sports equipment (approximately 30 lbs.)
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Ability to demonstrate movement and participate actively during classes
- Successfully pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive and enthusiastic
- Comfortable leading groups independently
- Patient and encouraging
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident speaking with parents and school staff
- Physically active and enjoys being on the move
- Excited to grow with a rapidly expanding company
- Naturally connects with young children
- Natural leader who can walk into a room of preschoolers, quickly earn their attention, and confidently lead a fun, engaging class independently from day one
