Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end product design from ideation to delivery for B2B customers and consumers, collaborating directly with product management, engineering, and lending operations teams. Translate mortgage requirements into simple, elegant experiences while iterating on feedback with design partners. Maintain autonomy in moving projects forward independently, owning products and keeping stakeholders informed. Apply Figma proficiency to build high-quality products within a small, high-growth team tackling large open-ended problems in Fintech and Proptech.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional user experience and product design experience building high-quality products
- A creative portfolio of previous design work which you were directly responsible for creating
- Autonomy in moving projects forward independently, while keeping stakeholders and the team informed and owning projects and products end-to-end
- Able to work in a highly collaborative environment with our stakeholders, product management, operations, and engineering teams to translate mortgage requirements into design
- Excellent communication skills - be able to clearly present and articulate design decisions
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools - we primarily use Figma
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing at Fintech, Proptech, and/or early-stage startups (preferred)
