Job Summary
Establish the design system in Figma, defining tokens, components, and patterns to ensure consistency across the platform as we rebuild key flows. Design high-fidelity prototypes for new features, running independent discovery to validate solution paths and translate decisions into clear PRDs. Partner directly with engineering to ship products while validating designs with customers through direct interviews and UI/UX testing. This role sits at the intersection of product design and management, allowing you to define the product from the ground up within a lean, fast-moving team. As the team grows, you may specialize further in either design craft or product strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product design experience
- ideally in B2B or SaaS
- portfolio that shows strong visual and interaction craft
- Have established a design system
- know how to build the foundations and roll them out pragmatically on a real product
- comfortable owning the problem, not just the pixels
- running your own discovery
- talking to customers
- making product judgment calls when the direction isn't fully defined
- Can write clear requirements

- Work fluently in Figma

Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing for complex or technical platforms (enterprise, data-heavy, or workflow products)
- Early-stage or small-team experience where you wore multiple hats
- Enough front-end literacy to collaborate fluently with engineers on how the design system gets implemented
- Experience working alongside AI systems and applying human judgment to automated outputs
