Job Summary
Build and own the infrastructure powering live trading, research, and machine learning systems. Design scalable, reliable platforms that provide a technological edge by working directly with founders, traders, and researchers. Implement production-grade solutions using Linux, AWS, Python, and tools like Terraform, CI/CD, and observability stacks. Manage databases including PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and ClickHouse while ensuring security and reliability in distributed environments. Operate with high autonomy to shape engineering culture and support low-latency systems in this early-stage quantitative trading firm.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Linux and AWS experience
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Experience building and operating production infrastructure
- Knowledge of Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Knowledge of observability tooling
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with ClickHouse
