Job Summary
Founding Solutions Engineer to own how our product gets into the real world—from the first technical conversation in a deal through hardware in the field, network integration, software configuration, and customer-run deployment. This cross-functional role spans hardware and software, pre-sales and post-sale, serving as the technical voice in deals, being on-site for install day, interfacing with IT/InfoSec teams, and enabling partners/installers to deploy on Firefly’s behalf. You’ll build playbooks, drive field learnings back into product, and lead hardware rollouts (site surveys, installer coordination, device commissioning, field troubleshooting) while configuring software for customers (tenants, roles, workflows, escalation and contact trees) and leading integrations with third-party systems (cameras, access control, HRIS, SSO). The ideal candidate communicates effectively with CISOs and IT directors and thrives in a high-ownership, collaborative environment. This is an in-office role based in New York City, with base salary range $130K–$180K plus equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years minimum experience in solutions engineering, technical deployment, or a comparable hands-on technical customer role
