Job Summary
Own field marketing end to end by building strategy, calendars, and budgets for all in-person programs, then executing them hands-on from venue booking to post-event follow-up. Run corporate and first-party events like dinners, workshops, and roadshows while managing third-party sponsorships and negotiating conference presence. Build ecosystem partnerships with AI vendors to create co-marketing relationships and multiply reach. Drive pipeline by partnering with sales to target technical and enterprise audiences and convert conversations into qualified opportunities. Measure effectiveness through registrations, attendance, sourced pipeline, and cost per opportunity to refine future programs. Shape long-term community engagement for developers and customers. This open-level role prioritizes creating memorable experiences and measurable results over résumé length, requiring equal comfort with strategy and execution. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area for a hybrid schedule with travel for events.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or community experience in the AI/ML space (or adjacent developer/enterprise infrastructure)
- A track record of managing corporate events, first-party events, and third-party sponsorships from concept through post-event follow-up
- Experience building ecosystem or co-marketing partnerships with other vendors
- A pipeline mindset
- Equal comfort with strategy and execution
- Exceptional organization and project management under tight timelines and shifting priorities
- Based in or willing to be in the San Francisco Bay Area for a hybrid schedule

Desired Qualifications
- Existing relationships in the AI/developer-tools ecosystem (vendors, communities, event organizers)
- Experience as a first or early marketing hire, building programs from zero
- Experience marketing to both developers and enterprise buyers
- Familiarity with event and marketing tools (CRM, marketing automation, event platforms)
