Job Summary
Founding Engineer to help shape the company's technical vision and product roadmap. Collaborate with product, design, and customers to deliver world-class, end-to-end features; own delivery of products from concept to production; build and ship high-quality software quickly; contribute to architecture and build scalable infrastructure and services; uphold engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, security, and monitoring. Requirements include 5+ years as a full-stack engineer, 1+ year in a fast-growth startup, prior founder experience, and hands-on experience across the stack with Typescript, Javascript, React, and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure). The role emphasizes hands-on product impact, startup experience, and in-person collaboration in Los Angeles or San Francisco, with a strong emphasis on healthcare/digital health context.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer
- 1+ years of experience at a fast-growth startup
- Former founder or has been part of a founding team
- Experience deploying products to cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience across the full stack (backend to frontend)
- Proficiency with Typescript and Javascript, React
- Demonstrated product-minded, strong design sense
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and modern tooling (Webpack, Jest, Storybook)
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS Fargate, Infrastructure as Code
