Job Summary
Set up technical vision and roadmap while building the product from the ground up, taking full ownership of all engineering decisions. Lead complex rollouts from ideation to delivery and design the platform systems governing data infrastructure, deployment, and version control. Grow the technical team by defining the hiring and onboarding process for new engineers. This role requires 5+ years of experience as a principal, staff, or senior full-stack engineer with a startup background, prioritization skills, and excellent communication abilities. Join the founding team to grow with the company as a technical and/or people leader.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional work experience as a software engineer
- experience as a principal/staff or senior full-stack software engineer
- experience working at a startup
- experience building and launching products from scratch
- experience deploying production level code
- entrepreneurial mindset
- phenomenal prioritization skills
- understanding of how to balance a 'done is better than perfect' mindset with thorough and thoughtful execution
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
