Founding Engineer (Full Stack)

Founding Engineer (Full Stack) at a fast-growing startup. You’ll be one of the first two engineers setting the technical culture with ownership across the entire stack. You’ll own problems end-to-end in domains like LLM orchestration, conversation flow, tool integration, voice, UI, and infrastructure; debug production issues in real time; design and prototype features with minimal specification; build core pillars including agent orchestration, embeddable adaptive UI, customer-facing platform, evaluation pipelines, and zero-cold-start infrastructure; and handle early-stage work from frontend bugs to database migrations and infra design. Key competencies include hands-on experience shipping systems that scale for real users, strong engineering judgment for shipping vs. debt, and ability to operate across the stack with ownership and pragmatism. Location is San Francisco, CA (remote or onsite options available; current interpretation: in-person).
