Job Summary
Founding Engineer for an early-stage consumer AI startup. Build across the full application in close collaboration with the founder and design team; design and implement systems for memory, retrieval, proactivity, and AI responsiveness; integrate real-time video generation and audio synthesis models; help set engineering quality standards and contribute to recruiting top talent; deeply engage with the product to deliver real user value and quality. Visa sponsorship available; on-site in San Francisco, CA. Compensation details: $175,000 – $225,000 USD annually.
Required Qualifications
- Computer Science degree from a top university
- 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience (not a new grad)
- Strong CS fundamentals and a track record of technically complex side projects
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit — prior startup or fast-moving environment experience strongly valued
- Proficiency in Python, including typed scientific Python
