Job Summary
Join SE3 Labs as a Drone Software Engineer to lead the development of real-time flight control and autonomy systems for drones powered by Spatial AI. Responsibilities include integrating AI with ArduPilot, fusing data from sensors for spatial awareness, and pushing the limits of control theory in real environments. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in mechatronics or robotics, proficiency with drone frameworks like ArduPilot, and a deep understanding of flight dynamics and embedded systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in mechatronics, robotics, or electrical/mechanical engineering
- Experience with ArduPilot, PX4, MAVLink, MAVROS or similar frameworks
- Deep understanding of flight dynamics, control theory, and embedded systems
- Familiarity with drone hardware, embedded electronics/sensors, and radio communication technology
- Curiosity, grit, and an instinct for building things that are technically challenging and high-impact
