Job Summary
Founding Developer Relations role to build Ampersand's presence in the developer community through content, education, and genuine engagement with the people building on the platform. Responsibilities include owning developer documentation as editor-in-chief, producing technical content (guides, tutorials, API references, sample apps, troubleshooting content), writing in-depth technical blog posts about the product, sourcing and preparing opportunities for conferences and events, organizing developer meetups with the Founding Marketer, and improving the onboarding experience and API status visibility. Ideal candidate demonstrates 3+ years in developer relations/advocacy or related engineering roles, technical credibility, strong written/verbal communication, and passion for creating useful, production-grade technical content for developers.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, solutions engineering, or software engineering
- Technical credibility — ability to read and write code
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience creating technical content that developers actually use
- Comfortable presenting at conferences, webinars, or technical community events
- Interest in improving developer experience end-to-end
