Job Summary
Founding BDR for a new dental vertical: you’ll be the first sales hire in a zero-to-one launch, building the outbound playbook from scratch, defining messaging, and driving top-of-funnel pipeline. You’ll contact prospects via email, phone, and other channels, iterate on sequences and scripts, track activity in Salesforce, overcome objections, and collaborate with senior leadership and Account Executives to meet KPIs and revenue targets. Required: 2+ years in XDR/BDR/SDR within a high-growth SaaS environment, proven outbound experience in launching into new verticals, strong cold-calling and ambiguity-handling skills, and a proactive, playbook-creating mindset. Bonus points for healthcare/dental exposure, founding sales motion experience, strong references, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of XDR/BDR/SDR experience in a high-growth startup environment (SaaS strongly preferred)
- Experience launching outbound into a new vertical, new market, or new product — you've been the first or among the first in a seat before and know what it takes to build from nothing
- Strong cold-calling chops (SMB experience is a big plus)
- Comfort operating without a playbook — you write the playbook as you go
- Ability to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly with limited resources
- Experience with standard sales tools and a desire to explore and implement new tools to streamline the sales process
- Commitment to continuous improvement and desire to learn new sales concepts via rigorous training
- Overall track record of professional and academic success
