Job Summary
Looking for a Senior/Staff level Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. Responsibilities include designing and implementing backend services and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, optimizing system performance, writing clean code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have over 5 years of backend development experience with proficiency in languages such as Go, Node.js, Python, or Java, as well as expertise in RESTful APIs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong experience with Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend languages
- Expertise in RESTful APIs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building eCommerce/payment systems
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
