Job Summary
Founding AI Systems Engineer in Bentonville, AR to build an production-ready, adaptive AI platform for retail/distribution. You’ll audit and evolve an existing prototype into an MVP architecture, design and implement agent orchestration patterns, memory/context layers, and retrieval pipelines for production use; build feedback loops so the system learns from user corrections and field signals; ship production-grade services (APIs, data pipelines, CI/CD, observability, and security fundamentals); instrument telemetry to monitor usage, drift, task success, and performance; run fast experiments tied to real user behavior; document architecture decisions and onboarding artifacts; and collaborate in-person with product, research, leadership, and customers to ground technical choices in field reality. The role is full-time, in-person based in Bentonville, with relocation support available. Compensation base salary ranges from $170,000 to $195,000, plus founding-team equity and benefits. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience with AI/ML systems (not strictly required by text but common in role)

- Ability to work in-person with product, researchers, leadership, and customers
- Founding/ownership mindset and ability to operate with ambiguity
