Job Summary
Foundations of Health & Medical Professions teacher for a 9.5-month contract in Little Rock, AR. Lead project-based learning, facilitate hands-on experiences, and mentor students to develop professional competencies for medical careers. Establish partnerships with medical facilities/organizations to offer internships and real-world projects; collaborate with postsecondary institutions to enable concurrent credit; recruit students for the course; and coordinate mentorships and internships with medical/health experts and professional organizations. Plans and delivers instruction, maintains a professional learning environment, and adheres to district and state policies. Requires at least a Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred; 18 graduate hours in the content area; and at least 5 years of industry-recognized certification experience. The role emphasizes building relationships with students, guiding professional projects, and supporting student readiness for further medical education.
