Job Summary
Coordinate and direct Simulation Technicians, actors, and volunteers prior to each clinical scenario, while overseeing training processes to ensure systems and equipment meet learning outcomes. Manage Clinical Simulation Educational Activities by scheduling sessions, enabling equipment, and providing technical support for AV systems, human patient simulators, and task trainers. Lead trial, validation, and evaluation processes for curriculum scenarios, then capture data, create outcome reports, and provide feedback to didactic faculty on student progress. Occasionally work evenings and weekends as required by business needs. This role supports the university's mission to shape the next generation of nurses through faith-integrated clinical education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (MSN) from a CCNE/NLNAC or ACEN accredited program
- active, current, and unencumbered NM RN license
- Two years related experience in healthcare, clinical healthcare education, or healthcare simulation education
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends as required by business needs
