Job Summary
Foundation Coordinator manages the Foundation office, assists with planning fundraising events, and facilitates office correspondence for the Friends program. Provides administrative support to the Development Director and supports the works of the Nunnally House. Responsible for all contributions received, deposits, and fund development information systems; assists with fundraising campaigns and coordinates the work of the Foundation Board, board committees, and the SGHS Development Director. Oversees donor records, prepares reports, coordinates marketing materials and event logistics, arranges meetings and minutes, and supports Foundation operations. Requires a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and experience in an Executive Assistant role within nonprofit settings; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management, and graphic design; valid driver’s license and bonding.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (college degree preferred)
- Prior experience in an Executive Assistant role
- Nonprofit experience
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance. Must be bonded.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management, and graphic design
- Ability to work with complex and diverse tasks and situations, as well as routine and repetitive administrative tasks
- Good interpersonal and customer service competencies
- Must be able to read, interpret, and follow verbal and written directions and have the ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written skills
- Must be able to train and coach staff on a variety of processes including computer applications
