Job Summary
Coordinate recruitment events and staffing for foster parent acquisition by collaborating with MDHHS offices, faith-based communities, and diverse community stakeholders. Present licensing process information at civic clubs, churches, and community events while sending prospective parent contact details to county offices. Utilize approved recruitment materials and input data into outcome tracking spreadsheets to meet county goals. Report directly to the Contract Supervisor and participate in advisory councils as needed. Applicants must reside in Michigan, hold a high school diploma with a preferred Bachelor's in Social Work, and possess one year of relevant licensing or recruitment experience.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant Must Reside in Michigan
- High School Diploma minimum required
- Must have a minimum of one-year relevant experience, as a licensing and recruitment worker
- Experience speaking to large groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office and related applications compatible word processing program
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work a flexible schedule, with business hours set by the Agency to include some evenings and weekends
- This position will require the ability to work from home
- Satisfaction of all employment eligibility and Agency hiring requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other related field preferred
