Job Summary
Foster Care Supervisor responsible for directly supervising a team of Foster Care Coordinators and the Foster Care Recruiter, ensuring compliance with County, State, and Federal guidelines. Oversees recruitment, home studies (SAFE), and placement processes, analyzes workload data to optimize staffing, supports professional development, and collaborates with internal and external partners to promote child safety, permanency, and well-being. Primary office is in Greeley, CO with potential satellite office assignments; role is in-person with limited telework and requires travel and driving to meet program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a higher education institution with course work related to the job responsibilities of a child welfare social caseworker
- 3 years full-time professional casework experience or Master's Degree in social work or human behavioral sciences field and 2 years professional casework experience
- Two years' experience completing SAFE home studies or supervising employees who have completed home studies
- Two years full time work experience supervising and managing employees that includes directing work activities and evaluating employees
- Candidate must pass criminal background check prior to employment start date
- Candidate must pass Department of Human Services background checks prior to employment start date
- Candidate must pass a CBI/FBI fingerprint check prior to employment start date and will continue to be subject to CBI/FBI monitoring throughout employment
- Candidate must submit college transcripts prior to the first day of employment
- Driving is essential in this position; valid Driver’s License and Liability Insurance required
