Job Summary
Directly supervise assigned Program team staff, including selecting and hiring personnel, facilitating staff meetings, and conducting bi-weekly supervision with appropriate disciplinary action when necessary. Ensure Program team delivers quality services in accordance with contract terms, Agency policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Manage daily operations, fiscal resources, and accurate completion of all required reports, logs, and paperwork. Provide ongoing case management and weekly services to assigned consumers and families in coordination with referral sources. Aids in orientation and training for subordinates while maintaining a positive working environment and strict confidentiality. Requires ability to work flexible business hours including weekends and holidays, with 24-hour on-call services for crisis intervention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Social Work
- three years of experience as a social services worker
- other qualified degrees as required by specific contract or regulatory agency
- Reliable transportation
- Prior experience working in a child placing agency
- Able to work a flexible schedule, with 'regular' business hours set by the Agency, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Able to perform on-call services 24-hours per day, seven days per week to assist Agency consumers and/or provide crisis intervention as required
- Satisfaction of all employment eligibility and Agency hiring requirements
