Job Summary
Monitor and ensure the well-being of every child on your caseload, responding to family crises to maintain safety and stability. Educate and model essential parenting, communication, and household management skills to strengthen overall family functioning while representing the agency at court hearings with expert testimony. Coordinate referrals for specialized treatment and collaborate with licensing and clinical staff to navigate a family's journey toward reunification or permanent placement. Participate in a 24/7 crisis response system to ensure birth and foster families are never alone during difficult moments. This full-time, salaried position requires a bachelor's degree in social work or related field, one year of experience, and a valid Michigan driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related human services field
- Valid Michigan Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Required vehicle insurance
- Comfortable working a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends
