Job Summary
Staff Nurse (RN) in nephrology dialysis, providing patient care and leading interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. Requires 1 year of RN experience with 3 months CA/TN or 6 months TX dialysis nephrology experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent, active RN licensure, CPR, and proficiency with Electronic Health Records. Part-time role based in San Jose, CA, with responsibilities including continuing education, quality assessment/improvement, and applying Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice; strong emphasis on ethical practice, patient-centered care, and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of registered nurse experience
- Minimum 3 months (California & Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Competent knowledge of Electronic Health Records
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently
