Foster Care Development Specialist

Recruit and connect with prospective foster families through community outreach, presentations, networking, and one-on-one conversations. Guide prospective parents from inquiry through licensure by coordinating applications, background checks, training, home study requirements, and documentation. Lead training and educational opportunities that prepare foster parents to understand foster care realities and meet children's needs. Develop and support foster families ongoing through relationship-building, coaching, resources, compliance, and problem-solving. Manage licensing, documentation, and compliance requirements by maintaining accurate records and ensuring homes meet regulatory standards. Build community partnerships to increase awareness and strengthen the network of safe, stable homes. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Base salary ranges from $52,000 to $58,000 annually with potential performance-based incentives.
