Job Summary
Foster Care Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical case managers and clinical services for foster care programs, ensuring quality evaluations, service delivery, documentation accuracy, compliance with policies and state requirements, and coordination with physicians, psychologists, and treatment teams. Responsibilities include supervising staff, facilitating intake/assignment decisions, providing individual and family psychotherapy as needed, ensuring billing and licensing documentation, participating in program development and quality initiatives, and contributing to crisis intervention planning and on-call coverage. Requires a Master’s degree in a human service field, licensure (LSWA/LSW/LCSW/LICSW), and relevant supervised experience; travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work or closely related field
- Three years of related experience with one year in clinical supervision
- Licensure (LSWA, LSW, LCSW, or LICSW) or equivalent
- Driver's license and vehicle if providing transportation
- Experience with mh/dd/sa populations or substance abuse counseling (as applicable)
- Clinical supervision experience
- Ability to perform psychotherapy as needed
