Job Summary
Senior Forward Deployed Team Lead for a U.S. federal DoD/civilian deployment. The role blends technical architecture, hands-on coding, product ownership, and project management while embedded with civilian agency and DoD customers to take products from design to production. Own one account at a time: scope workflow with operators, design architecture, write production code for backend services and data pipelines, drive ATO/cATO, and deploy into environments the mission runs on (IL5/IL6, SIPR/JWICS, etc.). Responsibilities include data-flow and deployment topology, stakeholder communication, and enabling production deployment across secure environments. Requires US citizenship and federal collaboration experience; DoD security concepts (ATO, SSPs) and accreditation artifacts ownership are included. Proficiency across Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or C++, with hands-on deployment experience in accredited federal environments. Leadership experience with a track record of delivering production software for federal customers.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in CS, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 6+ years shipping production software
- 2+ years as a tech lead
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or C++
- Prior delivery into a U.S. federal customer (civilian and/or DoW/DoD)
- Hands-on deployment experience inside accredited environments — IL5 minimum; IL6 / SIPR / JWICS preferred
- US citizenship required
- Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Desired Qualifications

- S. citizen, Active TS/SCI strongly preferred or willing to pursue a security clearance
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship
