Job Summary
Role entails delivering secure, modern software capabilities in highly regulated government environments. You will support mission-critical deployments in restricted, air-gapped settings and contribute across the full software lifecycle using React, Angular, TypeScript, Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus), and microservice architectures. Build and integrate containerized services with Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD; work with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time features; participate in Agile development activities; contribute to CI/CD pipelines via GitLab/Jenkins; operate within AWS, OpenStack, and hybrid on-prem cloud-like environments; collaborate with DevOps, UX, and full-stack teammates to ensure reliable and secure software delivery; travel up to 10% (Continental US). Requires active TS/SCI clearance and 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- 5+ years of related software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns
- Experience developing distributed microservices using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus
- Understanding of containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated testing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or on-premise equivalents)
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe-aligned teams
- Ability to operate effectively within secure, controlled, and collaborative engineering environments
- Exposure to ArgoCD Workflows or event-driven microservice architecture
