Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineering Manager leading a new post-sales function within Customer Solutions. Responsible for building and scaling the Forward Deployed Engineering program, shaping onboarding and customer “get well” motions, and defining repeatable patterns to improve customer outcomes. Requires partnering with Field CTO and leadership to align strategy, customer feedback, and execution; developing patterns that scale across customer segments; and contributing to hiring and team formation. Strong emphasis on balancing hands-on builder work with leadership, engaging directly with customers, and evolving operating models around AI-enabled development practices and agentic workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading or building technical customer-facing teams such as professional services, forward deployed engineering, solution architecture, or implementation
- Ability to work directly with customers while designing systems, patterns, and operating model behind the work
- Technical depth to engage with cloud-native platforms, developer workflows, and AI-enabled development practices
