Job Summary
Configure, code, and troubleshoot AI solutions for customer deployments, ensuring reliable integration within specific data landscapes and workflows. Serve as the intelligent backstop for AI agent escalations, identifying intervention patterns to feed product and engineering teams for continuous automation improvement. Synthesize customer pain points, edge cases, and feature requests into actionable briefs to directly influence the product roadmap. Act as the bridge between customer conversations and the codebase, translating messy real-world requirements into clean technical solutions while providing ground-truth signals to the product team.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering or technical experience
- Meaningful exposure to customer-facing or implementation work
- Strong technical foundation
- Ability to code
- Understanding of how LLM-based systems work at a practical level
- Ability to build your own agents
- Basic data engineering skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain a complex technical constraint to a non-technical stakeholder
- Ability to write a precise bug report for an engineer
- Experience working in data lakes
- Experience working in data warehouses
- Experience working in ERPs
- Experience working in other similar systems of record
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Comfort with the pace of an early-stage startup
- Ability to context-switch between a customer escalation, a product scoping session, and a sales call in the same day
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Engineer role at a B2B SaaS or AI company
- Hands-on experience with LLM tooling (LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, vector databases)
- Familiarity with enterprise data infrastructure – Databricks, Snowflake, or similar
- Experience supporting or closing enterprise sales cycles in a technical capacity
