Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineer at Second Front Systems, a customer-facing, security-focused role leading deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of software solutions in secured and classified environments for US government customers. The position involves on-site client engagements with travel to remote locations, ensuring deployments comply with government security standards (FedRAMP, NIST) and supporting technical contract deliverables. Requires DoD Top Secret / SCI eligible clearance (active or interim strongly preferred), US citizenship, and residence in approved hiring hubs. Candidates should have 3–5 years of systems deployment/engineering in regulated environments, proficiency with Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, cloud and on-prem environments, CI/CD, networking, scripting, and strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.
