Job Summary
Design agent intelligence by building AI agents that execute real actions for enterprise customers, leveraging prompts, reasoning, and tool calls. Own technical components end-to-end, from architecture to production deployment, while constructing data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks. Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate business challenges into agentic solutions, co-building proofs-of-concept and MVPs that ship in days. Maintain performance dashboards to track deployment health and business outcomes, surfacing field insights to product teams. Work remotely with ~25% travel, applying Python, JavaScript, or Apex to solve complex problems in public sector, nonprofit, and education environments.
Required Qualifications
- Production experience
- Builder mindset
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years (6-10 years for Senior levels) of software engineering or technical delivery experience
- At least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering)
- Proven experience managing and delivering customer-facing projects within Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Ability to explain why a prompt failed and what you'd change
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns
- Ability to hold your own in a room with sales teams and customer architects
- Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor
- Active tinkering with the evolving AI/data landscape
- Willingness to travel ~25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist)
- Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and orchestration patterns
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Experience across specialist AI delivery areas: data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments
