Job Summary
Design AI agents and experiences that execute real actions for enterprise customers, partnering with Deployment Strategists to co-build agentic solutions from day one. Own technical components end-to-end, including architecture, data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360 and Snowflake, and agent performance dashboards. Ship proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move from sketch to production, while surfacing field insights to product teams. Work directly with customers and partners to translate business challenges into deployable systems, traveling approximately 25% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Production experience
- Builder mindset
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years (6-10 years for Senior levels) of software engineering or technical delivery experience
- At least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through - ideally in an AI tech stack, full-stack development, or working with frontier models
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering)
- Proven experience managing and delivering customer-facing projects within Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Ability to explain why a prompt failed and what you'd change
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns
- Ability to hold your own in a room with sales teams and customer architects
- Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor
- Active tinkering with the evolving AI/data landscape
- Willingness to travel ~25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist)
- Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and orchestration patterns
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Experience across specialist AI delivery areas: data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments
