Job Summary
Design AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organizations by building and integrating data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks. Own technical components end-to-end, from architecture choice to deployed, validated, and observable solutions in production environments. Partner with a Deployment Strategist to translate customer business challenges into agentic solutions that ship, while co-building alongside customers and partners to enable best practices. Surface platform gaps and field insights to product teams to drive continuous innovation. Travel approximately 25% of the time to work directly alongside customers in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years (6-10 years for Senior levels) of software engineering or technical delivery experience
- At least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering)
- Proven experience managing and delivering customer-facing projects within Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Ability to explain why a prompt failed and what you'd change
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns
- Ability to hold your own in a room with sales teams and customer architects
- Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor
- Active tinkering with the evolving AI/data landscape
- Willingness to travel ~25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist)
- Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and orchestration patterns
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Experience across specialist AI delivery areas: data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments
