Job Summary
Forward Deployed Engineer for Piramidal to bridge core technology with clinical partners. Responsibilities include partnering with hospitals/clinics to deploy Piramidal’s machine learning models and infrastructure, architecting and implementing technical integrations between the platform and hospital IT networks and EEG systems, and debugging complex environment-specific infrastructure issues related to secure networking, high-throughput data ingestion, and model inference latency. Travel to client sites as needed is expected. Must have 3+ years of software, infrastructure, or forward-deployed engineering experience, strong Python, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux networking, secure deployments, and excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to both engineers and clinical/IT staff.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software, infrastructure, or forward-deployed engineering experience
- Strong proficiency with Python
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience troubleshooting Linux environments, networking architectures, and secure deployments
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering peers and clinical/IT staff
- Ability to move fast, operate independently, and travel to client sites as needed
